This week it was time to repair our squishy steering quadrant cover panel. The wood in the panel was rotten making it a safety hazard. One solid hop on it and your foot would be in the steering linkage and that’s no good. So we take the panel back to HQ and proceed to dive head first into fiberglass work, which we know absolutely nothing about. After the repair, we reinstall the panel on the boat and get ready for our next sailing adventure.
