Welcome to sailing vessel Sea Hawk. We are Steve and Darla and we knew almost nothing about boats or sailing. Our plans involved learning how to sail on a lake, then using that experience to learn how to sail in coastal waters, then finally cutting proverbial the cord and sailing off into the sunset. So join us as we fumble our way through boat ownership, upgrades and repairs, learning to sail, and finally becoming full time sailors.
We have finally upgraded from our 1988 Catalina 30 TR/BS to a 2005 Island Packet 370. We also expanded our cruising ground from the lake to coastal waters in Charlotte Harbor, FL (for now).
